We created the SmartBox augmented reality sandbox to meet the needs of smaller institutions, such as schools, preschools, and even individual clients. This isn't an interactive floor; it's a much more advanced device. The sandbox is easily accessible for children. Wheels make it easy to transport. Its dimensions allow it to pass between rooms through standard doorways. The price includes everything you need: a computer with full software and a container of special kinetic sand.

What is an interactive sandbox?

The interactive sandbox consists of a traditional sandbox, above which are mounted a 3D camera, a projector, and a computer with specialized software. The camera analyzes the shape of the sand surface, and the computer processes the data in real time and uses the projector to project appropriate animations onto the sand. It’s not just another interactive table or floor where the application is displayed on a flat surface.

The interactive sandbox easily transforms into an interactive table. Simply cover the sand with a specially adapted cover to create a new space for work and play. The set includes an infrared pen, which provides access to approximately 100 applications – including games, quizzes, logic puzzles, and activities that develop coordination and analytical thinking. This single device allows for a seamless transition from sensory sand play to structured teaching and group activities.
