In this mode you will feel like a real archaeologist and discover various treasures hidden under the surface of the sand. Your goal is to uncover the shape without damaging it. The game teaches accuracy and consideration. DigQuest can also be used as an educational tool for children, helping them to recognize shapes, letters and numbers.
Note: Due to the shape of the hidden objects, the game requires kinetic sand. A touch screen is also required to play.
Interaction
Follow the instructions projected on the sand. The first step is to level the terrain before digging. Continue until you have covered the entire blue area. You may need to grab some sand from the corners of the sandbox. When the leveling is done, the program will automatically move on to the next stage. You can now start digging. Carefully clear the surface and watch for shapes to appear. If you see some, try to remove the surrounding sand both wider and deeper. If you damage the structure of the hidden object, it will turn red. In this case, patch it with some sand and continue around it. Your progress will be shown on a bar at the outer edge of the sandpit. When you have uncovered enough of the hidden object, the game ends and you can try the next discovery.

Tap the arrow at the bottom of the screen to open the roll-up menu. From there, select ‘DigQuest’. This will open the mode. You’ll see three categories to choose from: Letters, Numbers and Archaeology. The first two can be expanded by clicking the ‘Choose’ button. This will open another page containing tiles with consecutive numbers and letters. Select one of them to start playing. Clicking the icon in the top left corner will take you back to the main menu. All categories can be played randomly by clicking the ‘Random’ button. After successfully completing a level, you can either play the next one (consecutive or random order, depending on your previous selection) or return to the main menu by clicking the right button. At any stage of the game, you can also return to the main menu by clicking the icon in the upper left corner.
